Detailed itinerary
CAN THO / HO CHI MINH CITY – LONG AN (Lunch, Dinner)
Morning 07:00: We pick you up at the meeting point. The group begins the journey to explore the Endless Field ecotourism resort. This resort is also the Dong Thap Muoi Medicinal Plant Reserve and the film set for the movie adaptation of writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu's work "The Floating Lives" (Canh dong bat tan).
10:00: The group arrives at the resort at Truc Dau Tram Bridge. Guests travel by motorized wooden boat (tac rang) through water hyacinth-covered ripples to the central area in about 5 minutes. Upon arrival, enjoy herbal beverages such as cleistocalyx operculatus (la voi) tea, ginger-lemongrass-honey tea, dragon fruit juice, or hibiscus tea—not only refreshing but also great for digestion.
Visit the Temple Area, which honors and commemorates two master founders of Vietnamese Traditional Medicine: Great Physician Tue Tinh, Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong, and Labor Hero Nguyen Van Be – who contributed greatly to the development of this land.
Noon 11:30: Enjoy lunch featuring homegrown regional specialties and fresh herbal greens: steamed apple snails with lemongrass, braised eel with great morinda leaves, boiled mixed wild greens, spotted catfish hotpot, red dragon fruit powder juice, and more. Afterward, check into your room to rest.
Afternoon 15:00 – 17:30: In the afternoon, guests participate in the following activities:
Take a stroll or bike around the cajuput forest, breathing in the delicate aroma of cajuput in the air. Experience "forest bathing" therapy: Forest bathing originates from Japan, known as "shinrin-yoku," meaning "immersing oneself in the forest atmosphere." The forest air not only brings a sense of freshness and comfort but also contains phytoncides (natural volatile organic compounds emitted by plants and trees) that boost immune function, promote relaxation, reduce stress, and help prevent diseases.
Kayaking and composite boat paddling: Guests will enjoy paddling a kayak or composite boat along a canal stretching more than 3 km. The green cajuput forest and the blue sky blend seamlessly into a soothing, cool landscape. Drift along the water, watch the sunset, and witness the sun gradually dip behind the tree lines in an utterly poetic and romantic setting!
Swimming and diving to observe underwater vegetation in the rainwater lake: Break away from cramped concrete pools and enjoy swimming freely in nature. Stretching over 1 km with crystal-clear water where you can see straight to the bottom, guests can swim freely in the cool waters or snorkel to admire the lush underwater aquatic flora (guests may bring their own swimwear and goggles).
Evening 18:30: Enjoy dinner. Spend free time at leisure or sign up for a medicinal herbal foot soak with natural essential oils (at own expense). The herbal foot soak helps promote blood circulation, improve sleep quality, enhance metabolism, reduce hypertension, and support cardiovascular health.

07:00: Enjoy breakfast.
08:30 – 10:00: Depart by motorized wooden boat (tac rang) to visit the virgin cajuput forest, weaving through the canal network to admire lush green vegetation carpets, blooming fragrant water lilies and lotuses, and centuries-old cajuput trees wrapped in climbing ferns.
Guests stop to visit:
Lepironia grassland (Canh dong co bang): Covering an area of over 100 hectares, this was once the film set for the movie "The Floating Lives" (Canh dong bat tan), adapted from writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu's novel. Here, visitors will enjoy the delightful experience of walking barefoot on the waterlogged grass mats. Amidst the vast, breezy field, it will surely bring guests comfort, peace, and relaxation.
Sao Mai Medicinal Herb Plantation: This is a gene preservation area for the Dong Thap Muoi region, home to rare and unique medicinal plant species. Guests can savor the rustic dish "boiled cassava with coconut milk", sip on "white lotus leaf tea" grown and processed by the resort itself, and breathe in the fragrant scents emanating from rare medicinal herbs in the experimental garden.
Moc Hoa Tram Factory: Head back to the central area to visit the Moc Hoa Tram Factory – a production site for natural herbal products such as essential oils, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and traditional eastern medicines. The Moc Hoa Tram Factory has achieved GMP-WHO standards certified by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and FDA certification from the United States. Guests can participate in the "Essential Oil Distillation" experience (at own expense) to craft their own products and learn about the company's essential oil extraction process.
Noon 11:30: Check out and have lunch. Free time for photos or relaxation on-site (the resort provides a resting area for guests after checkout).
15:00: The motorized boat takes guests back to the pick-up point, concluding the Endless Field experience. The vehicle picks up the group and departs for the original departure point. Arriving in Can Tho, drop-off at the original pick-up point. We bid you farewell and look forward to seeing you again!
