Detailed itinerary
05:30: The Cồn Én tourist vehicle picks up visitors and departs for Chợ Mới, An Giang, traveling via the Ho Chi Minh City–Trung Lương and Trung Lương–Mỹ Thuận expressways. Along the way, enjoy views of seasonal golden rice fields and the lush green fruit orchards lining the road.
Upon arriving in Sa Đéc, continue toward Mỹ Luông Town, Chợ Mới District, An Giang.
Upon arrival in Mỹ Luông, Chợ Mới, An Giang, visitors will begin their sightseeing tour at Mỹ Luông Ecotourism Area, featuring a unique and novel style with highly romantic check-in photography spots, as well as fish ponds and lush gardens that create a visually captivating experience.
Crossing Mỹ Luông–Tấn Mỹ Bridge in Chợ Mới District, An Giang, visitors will visit one of the following two spiritual destinations:
- Visit Phước Thành Pagoda (also known as Bird Pagoda), a special pagoda in An Giang that has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization for housing the largest complex of statues of Amitabha Buddha and 48 bodhisattvas and saints. In addition, on the pagoda grounds, at the foot of the Amitabha Buddha statue, there are white-stone sculptures modeled after Turtle Tower, One Pillar Pagoda, Hạ Long Bay, and Phụ Tử Islet, among others.
- Cù Lao Giêng Church
Considered the first church in the region, it was built by the French in 1778 and is one of the largest and oldest parishes in the Southwestern region of Vietnam.
This ancient structure has a magnificent appearance, with delicate and intricate decorative patterns, creating a French-style historic atmosphere amid the islet.
11:30–12:00 Depart for Cồn Én Ecotourism Area to rest. Located along the riverbank, Cồn Én Ecotourism Area covers 6.6 hectares and features unique architectural landscapes:
- A large-scale system of wooden statues and driftwood paintings, along with more than 10 treehouses made entirely of natural driftwood.
- A 24.5-meter-long, over-20-ton driftwood painting depicting a Vietnamese Village Landscape.
- A three-story wooden boat area and a 26-meter observation tower offering panoramic views of Cồn Én.
- An artistic bonsai area featuring various unusual plant species.
- Restaurant and café areas.
- A water recreation area with suspension bridges, obstacle courses, slides, zip lines, folk games, and more. Enjoy swimming at the islet and immersing yourself in the natural surroundings of the Tiền River.
- A children's play area.
Note: Lunch may be arranged at Mỹ Luông Tourist Area or Cồn Én, depending on the schedule.
