Detailed itinerary
07:30–08:00: The group will depart from Ba Be Lake and follow the lakeside road. Admire the picturesque scenery surrounding Ba Be Lake.
After reaching the end of the road and crossing a small stream, you will arrive at a village inhabited by the Tay people. Here, you will experience the locals’ traditional way of fishing on Ba Be Lake.
Next, the group will continue the journey across vast cornfields and terraced rice fields of the Nung people. Cross the mountain ranges to Dau Dang Waterfall, located on the Nang River.
Here, you will admire two magnificent limestone mountain ranges. At Puong Cave, you will see stalactites in various shapes at the cave entrance. If you are lucky, you may also see the rare fried fish found in this area.
12:30 Enjoy a rustic lunch prepared by the Nung people.
At this time, you can learn more about and chat with the locals to discover their unique and fascinating cultural features.
After resting, the group will return to the Ba Be Lake area via another trail.
When you arrive back at the lake, you will have some free time to enjoy activities here. You can take a dugout canoe or motorboat to explore the natural surroundings of the lake, or immerse yourself in the cool waters after a long day of trekking.
