Detailed itinerary
06:00 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Tien Giang. During the 1-day Western Vietnam tour to My Tho - Tien Giang, you will socialize and listen to the guide introduce interesting information about the attractions along the way.
Stop to rest and have breakfast at Mekong Restop.
Continue the journey to My Tho.
10:00 Arrive at the April 30 Pier and board a motorboat to cruise along the Tien River, admire Rach Mieu Bridge, and marvel at the Four Islets of the Tien River—Long, Lan, Qui, and Phung.
Visit Phoenix Islet to explore a fruit orchard, enjoy fresh fruit, listen to and interact with southern amateur traditional music performers, drink honey tea, observe and learn about beekeeping, and take souvenir photos with a python.
Travel to Unicorn Islet to visit a coconut candy workshop and learn how the famous coconut candy of Ben Tre is made.
Paddle a sampan to explore the canals, admire the lush nipa palms, and enjoy the peaceful, simple life of the people in the river region.
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the village roads. Participate in the organized fish-catching competition, then enjoy your catch grilled and wrapped in rice paper.
11:30 Have lunch featuring crispy fried giant gourami, followed by free time to relax.
13:30 Visit the Coconut Monk historical site.
14:00 Return to the April 30 Pier and depart to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda.
