Detailed itinerary
30 Our vehicle and tour guide will be present at the meeting point to pick up the group and depart for the 1-day Bac Giang tour. Guests will listen to the tour guide introduce the itinerary and socialize during the journey.
00 Arrive at An Toan Khu II (ATK II) in Hiep Hoa District, where the Central Party agencies and the Tonkin Regional Party Committee operated after being established by the Central Party in 1943. This site witnessed many of the Party’s important political events, including the training of 13 military cadres for the northern provinces, the publication of Central propaganda materials and books on guerrilla warfare, and the activities of key leaders such as Truong Chinh, Hoang Quoc Viet, and Hoang Van Thu. Guests will visit the historical site and listen to an introduction about it.
00 Guests visit and offer prayers at Y Son Temple, a sacred and ancient temple located beside the gently flowing Cau River. It is dedicated to Saint General Hung Linh Cong, who made great contributions to the people and the country during the reign of the Hung Kings. Y Son Temple was recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a national-level architectural and artistic heritage site in 1994.
30 Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.
30 The group visits Lo Hanh Communal House, the ancient communal house with the earliest date of construction in the former Kinh Bac region, now Bac Giang. Built during the Later Le period in the 16th century (1576), it was granted numerous royal decrees by successive feudal dynasties and has been passed down with the title “First of Kinh Bac.”
00 The group visits and offers incense at Bo Da Pagoda, whose official name is Quan Am Pagoda on Bo Da Mountain, or Bo Da Son Quan Am Son Tu. It is commonly known as Bo Pagoda or Tam Giao Pagoda, a famous ancient pagoda of the former Kinh Bac region. The pagoda is situated on Phoenix Mountain, on the left bank of the scenic Cau River. It preserves more than 40 ancient Buddhist statues, most of which date from the Le period (18th century) and the Nguyen period (19th century). In addition, there are statues arranged according to Confucian, Taoist, and indigenous folk beliefs. Guests will visit Cao Pagoda, Tam Duc Hermitage, Tu An Pagoda, and the Tower Garden.
30 Guests board the vehicle and return to Hanoi, resting during the journey.
00 Arrive in Hanoi and return to the original pick-up point, concluding the 1-day Bac Giang tour. Our tour guide, on behalf of the company, thanks you, says goodbye, and looks forward to welcoming you on future programs.
