A cycling journey designed for those who love a challenge and majestic mountain scenery. After taking an overnight train to Lao Cai, you will explore Sa Pa and the Red Dao village in Ta Phin, conquer O Quy Ho Heaven Gate, and descend into Binh Lu.
The following days lead through Black Thai villages, the Son La hydropower reservoir, Cap Na Pass, Muong Lay, Dien Bien Phu with its historic sites, legendary Pha Din Pass, Moc Chau Plateau, and Mai Chau Valley before returning to Hanoi.

Detailed itinerary
Vehicle check, lunch, walking tour of the 36 Old Streets; dinner and board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Have breakfast, head up to Sa Pa, cycle to explore the Red Dao village in Ta Phin and terraced rice fields; afternoon at leisure in Sa Pa town.
Cycle through the hills and mountains, cross O Quy Ho Heaven Gate, descend to Binh Lu, ride along dirt roads through Thai villages, and transfer to Than Uyen.
Cycle through a riverside Black Thai village, follow National Highway 279 to Ban Chat along the hydroelectric reservoir; conquer Cap Na Pass and cross Pa Uon Bridge to Quynh Nhai.
Cycle through rice fields, forested mountains, terraced fields, and small passes along National Highway 6 to Muong Lay.
Cycle along the Nam Na River and Muong Thanh Valley to Dien Bien Phu.
Visit the Dien Bien Phu battlefield historical sites, the Muong Phang Command Post; cycle to Tuan Giao.
Conquer Pha Din Pass, one of the “four great mountain passes”, then arrive in Son La.
Cycle across the Moc Chau plateau with tea hills and dairy farms, down to Mai Chau valley.
Cycle around the White Thai villages, have lunch, then return to Hanoi.
Breakfast, free time until airport transfer.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations at least 30 days prior: 100% deposit refund. Cancellations between 15 and 29 days prior: 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days before departure: non-refundable. In cases of natural disasters, storms, floods, or landslides rendering routes unsafe, the itinerary will be adjusted or rescheduled.
Other notes
The tour is suitable for travelers aged 18 and older who are in good physical shape and accustomed to long-distance cycling; a support vehicle accompanies the group throughout, allowing you to rest at any time. Small group size from 2 up to 14–15 guests. Discounts apply for groups of more than 5 people. Total distance is approximately 565 km.
