Tour description
This tour is designed for experienced cyclists seeking to fully explore the mountains and forests of the Northwest. On the first day, tour Hanoi (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Stilt House, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, water puppet show) before taking the overnight train to Lao Cai.
From Sa Pa, cycle through the villages of Lao Chai, Ta Van, and Su Pan; cross O Quy Ho Pass to Than Uyen and Tuan Giao, then conquer Pha Din Pass toward Son La. The next leg takes you through the terraced rice valleys of Mu Cang Chai, Tu Le, Nghia Lo, the Ta Xua Nature Reserve, Bac Yen, and the Moc Chau Plateau before returning to Mai Chau and Hanoi.

Detailed itinerary
Meet your tour guide, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake, the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, and watch a water puppet show; board the overnight train to Lao Cai in the evening. Noi Bai Airport pick-up is available upon prior request.
Cycling through Muong Hoa Valley and villages of the H'Mong, Dao, and Giay people.
Cross O Quy Ho Heaven Gate, descend to Binh Lu, and reach Than Uyen.
Cycle along the hydropower reservoir, through a Black Thai village to Tuan Giao.
Conquer Pha Din Pass and arrive in Son La.
Cycle and transfer to Mu Cang Chai, admire the terraced rice fields.
Cross Khau Pha Pass, pass through Tu Le Valley to Nghia Lo.
Cycle through villages and mountain forests to the Ta Xua area.
Cycle from Bac Yen to the Moc Chau Plateau with tea hills and farms.
Cycle down into Mai Chau Valley, have lunch, then return to Hanoi.
Breakfast, free time until airport transfer.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations at least 30 days prior: 100% deposit refund. Cancellations between 15 and 29 days prior: 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days before departure: non-refundable. In cases of natural disasters, storms, floods, or landslides rendering routes unsafe, the itinerary will be adjusted or rescheduled.
Other notes
This tour is suitable for participants aged 18 and older who are in good health and accustomed to long-distance cycling; a support vehicle accompanies the tour at all times so you can rest whenever needed. Small groups from 2 guests, up to a maximum of 14–15 guests. Discounts available for groups of more than 5 people. Total cycling distance is approximately 565 km (averaging 50 km/day). Single room supplement: 100 USD; bike rental: 145 USD.
