Detailed itinerary

07:40–08:20: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter, then depart for the one-day Tràng An–Bái Đính tour.

10:30: Upon entering the spiritual world of Bái Đính Pagoda, visitors will be overwhelmed by the magnificent Tam Quan Gate. With three tiers of roofs covered in exquisite Bát Tràng glazed tiles, the Tam Quan Gate resembles a vibrant living work of art. Hundreds of intricately carved green-stone Arhat statues stand along both sides of the gate, as if welcoming visitors into a sacred space.

Along both sides of the paths at Bái Đính Pagoda are 500 Arhat statues carved from green stone, a rare precious stone in Vietnam. You will visit the Quan Âm Hall and Pháp Chủ Hall, built entirely from tứ thiết wood, featuring a 100-ton gold-plated statue—the largest in Southeast Asia. Please note that these sites are available only to visitors who register for the new Tràng An and Bái Đính Pagoda tour.

After passing through the bell tower, visitors will immerse themselves in a vast, cool green space with flower gardens and lawns. Thousands of flowers bloom here, accompanied by birdsong, creating a beautiful natural picture.

Continuing the journey, visitors will reach the Quan Thế Âm Bồ Tát Hall, one of the pagoda’s most prominent spiritual attractions. Here, you can admire the majestic Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin statue, whose thousand eyes and thousand hands symbolize infinite compassion.

At the highest point stands an 11-meter-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. With a cheerful expression and ever-smiling face, this Buddha is believed to bring good fortune throughout the year to those who visit Bái Đính Pagoda.

Next, visitors will visit the largest bell tower in Southeast Asia, where two sutras are engraved in Chinese characters. Beneath it is the largest bronze drum in Vietnam, intricately carved with ancient cultural motifs that clearly reflect the daily life and culture of our ancestors in bygone times.

12:25: You will board the vehicle and travel to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch, featuring local specialties such as lime-marinated goat, crispy rice, grilled goat, and more.

Afternoon: Tràng An – Hanoi

13:30–13:45: The vehicle will take you to the Tràng An Ecotourism Complex. You may choose one of the following two routes:

Route 1: The boat will travel along the stream, allowing you to admire a system of caves with beautiful stalactites comparable to those in Hạ Long Bay, bearing unusual names such as Bright Cave, Dark Cave, and Wine-Making Cave.

The boat will then continue deep into the caves, where visitors can freely admire the strange shapes of the stalactites and immerse themselves in the surrounding natural scenery.

Route 2: You will board a boat to visit the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex, passing through 3–4 caves and visiting the temple dedicated to the mountain god Cao Sơn, also known as Saint Quý Minh Đại Vương, who contributed to protecting the nation.

According to folk legends, he was one of three brothers and generals who were canonized as saints: Saint Tản Viên, Saint Cao Sơn, and Saint Quý Minh. They helped guard the Sơn Nam frontier and protect the country during the reign of King Hùng Duệ Vương, the 18th Hùng King.

He was an “upper-ranking deity” who received royal edicts and titles from successive kings and was worshipped by people as the village tutelary god in many places. He was renowned as a responsive deity to whom people prayed for help.

16:30: You will board the vehicle and return to Hanoi, bidding farewell to Tràng An and Bái Đính.

19:30: Arrive in Hanoi, ending the tour. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again!
