Detailed itinerary
Our tour guide will meet guests at the old Rach Mieu Ferry Terminal on the Ben Tre side or at the My Tho tourist boat terminal.
Guests board the boat to admire the scenery of the Four Sacred Animals: Dragon – Unicorn – Tortoise – Phoenix on the Tien River, as well as the river-based daily life of the Mekong Delta.
Upon arriving at Thoi Son Islet: Visit a bee farm, listen to local residents share information about beekeeping and how bee products are extracted, enjoy honey tea and local candies and preserves, visit a local home, explore fruit orchards, learn about the distinctive lifestyle and culture of the Mekong Delta's garden region, listen to and interact with performers of đờn ca tài tử, enjoy fresh fruit, and explore the Mekong Delta's canals by rowing boat as it winds through shady nipa palm groves, observing the daily life of the islet residents.
Cruise down the Tien River to Phoenix Islet – Ben Tre (Coconut Religion Islet) to visit and admire the architectural works of the Coconut Religion, as well as an exhibition room displaying images of notable figures and historical sites in Ben Tre Province. The Coconut Museum displays vivid images and artifacts depicting the life, daily activities, and culture of the people of the Coconut Land; visit a handicraft workshop, a coconut candy workshop – a famous specialty of Ben Tre, a calligraphy club, a flower garden, a lotus pond, and a crocodile farm; and participate in recreational activities such as crocodile fishing.
At Phoenix Islet Tourist Area, guests will be provided with bà ba outfits to participate in activities in the water recreation area, such as ziplining, balance cycling, crossing a cable over the river, draining a canal to catch fish, recreational fishing, bottle-feeding fish, and water zorbing (Zorbing) … (at your own expense)
Guests will have lunch at the Phoenix Islet restaurant.
Afterward, the group and the tour guide will return to the main boat and travel back to My Tho City, concluding the tour. Our tour guide looks forward to seeing you again on upcoming programs.
