Detailed itinerary
HANOI – SON LA TOUR (Meals: Lunch/Dinner)
05:30: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point to depart for Son La. On the way, the bus will stop for breakfast (at your own expense). Guests will stop to check in at the poetic Thung Khe Pass.
Noon: You will have lunch at a restaurant and enjoy Northwest specialties. Afterward, continue the journey to Son La.
Afternoon: The group arrives in Son La and visits famous attractions:
- Son La Museum
Son La Museum preserves and displays valuable artifacts reflecting the history of the establishment and development of Son La Province. Visiting here, tourists will have the opportunity to learn about the culture, customs, and traditions of ethnic minority groups living in the province, as well as discover the glorious historical remnants of this land.
- Son La Prison
Son La Prison was once one of the notorious prisons of the French colonialists in Indochina. This place detained many Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers, including prominent leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Today, Son La Prison has become an important historical relic and a place to educate generations about patriotic traditions.
- To Hieu Peach Tree
The To Hieu peach tree is closely associated with the image of Son La Prison and symbolizes the resilient will of communist prisoners. This peach tree was planted by Comrade To Hieu, a renowned revolutionary fighter, during his imprisonment here. The To Hieu peach tree has become a symbol of an indomitable spirit and intense vitality overcoming all hardships.
Afterward, you will head to the hotel to check in and relax.
Evening: Enjoy dinner featuring delicious Northwest culinary specialties, freely take a stroll or rest, and stay overnight at a hotel in Son La.

SON LA – MUONG PHANG – DIEN BIEN TOUR (Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
06:30 The group has breakfast, checks out of the hotel, and continues the journey to Muong Phang.
- Arriving at Pha Din Pass - one of the "Four Great Passes" of the Northwest, visitors will admire the majestic beauty of the northwestern mountains and forests. The winding pass is flanked by sheer cliffs and lush green forests.
- Afterward, we will continue the journey to Muong Phang to explore the legendary Dien Bien Phu Campaign Headquarters, where the fiercest battles of the resistance war against the French took place.
Noon: Guests enjoy lunch in Muong Phang.
Afternoon: Guests return to Dien Bien Phu City. The tour guide takes you to visit:
- Dien Bien Phu Historical Museum – The museum has 5 exhibition areas with 274 artifacts and 122 paintings organized by themes: Strategic Location, the Enemy's Stronghold Group, the Party's Guidelines, the Impact of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, and Dien Bien Phu Today.
- Visit A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, A1 Hill – Home to 644 graves of soldiers and civilians who heroically sacrificed their lives in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
- De Castries Bunker, Muong Thanh Bridge, Nam Rom River, Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument – Landmarks that still carry the heroic echoes of a war of great historical significance to the entire nation.
17:00 The group returns to the hotel to check in and rest.
