Detailed itinerary
HANOI – THAI NGUYEN – BA BE LAKE (LUNCH, DINNER)
05:30 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the Hanoi Opera House. The vehicle departs for Bac Kan. The group will have breakfast at a restaurant along the way (at your own expense).
11:30 Have lunch at a restaurant in Cho Ra Town, Ba Be. The group continues the journey to Ba Be Lake. Passing stilt houses nestled along the mountainside, you will arrive at the shore of Ba Be Lake about an hour later and check in. Relax and unwind in the tranquil surroundings of the mountains and forests.
Afternoon: Board the boat at the pier and take a tour around Ba Be Lake, visiting attractions such as Ba Goá Island and An Ma Temple, and enjoy kayaking on the lake. The boat will stop to visit Pac Ngoi Village and Hua Ma Cave. You can take a walk around the village and admire the distinctive stilt houses along the shore of Ba Be Lake, characteristic of the Tay ethnic culture whose people live beside the lake.
Enjoy dinner featuring Ba Be mountain specialties.
You can join the village’s cultural exchange featuring Then, Sli, and Luon singing with the local art troupe (at your own expense).
