Detailed itinerary
HANOI - HOA LU - TAM COC - MUA CAVE (LUNCH / DINNER)
08:00 - 08:30 The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and near the Hanoi Opera House, then depart for Ninh Binh.
10:30 Arrive in Ninh Binh. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (Vietnam’s capital in the 10th century), including the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le. Explore the archaeological excavation area next to the temple of Le Dai Hanh and admire the scenery of the beautiful Truong Yen Valley, enjoying its spectacular landscapes.
Visit Mua Cave (surcharge of VND 150,000): Walk along winding paths covered with greenery and surrounded by beautiful miniature landscapes, then conquer the summit of Mua Mountain via 500 stone steps. From the summit, you can take in the vast land and sky of Hoa Lu, peaceful yet magnificent like an ink-wash painting, evoking strong emotions in many visitors. On the way back, pass through the lotus pond area nestled among limestone mountain ranges, creating an extremely romantic, ancient-style setting. You can rent traditional costumes here for photos.
12:30 Return to the restaurant to rest and have lunch.
14:00 The tour guide will take you by boat to visit the caves. Pass through three caves: First Cave, Second Cave, and Third Cave. Visit Thai Vi Temple, dedicated to Saint Tran (Tran Hung Dao). After approximately two hours, return to Tam Coc Pier.
17:00 The vehicle will take you back to the hotel to check in and rest.

10:00 Check out of the hotel. The vehicle will then pick you up at the hotel and take you to Bai Dinh Pagoda, a famous pagoda known for numerous records: the entire Bai Dinh Pagoda complex covers an area of 107 hectares, including the Tam The Hall and Phap Chu Hall, which span thousands of square meters. The pagoda is home to the largest bronze statue of Buddha in Southeast Asia, weighing 100 tons, as well as three Tam The statues, each weighing 50 tons.
12:30 Return to the restaurant to rest and have lunch.
13:30 The vehicle will take you to Trang An Wharf, where you will board a boat to visit the Trang An Ecotourism Complex, where limestone formations, valleys, and interwoven rivers create a magical and mysterious landscape. From the boat, explore caves featuring uniquely shaped stalactites, such as Dark Cave, Bright Cave, Wine-Making Cave, Sinh Cave, Si Cave, Three-Drop Cave, Dia Linh Cave, and more.
17:30 Gather and board the vehicle to return to Hanoi.
