Tour description
Phnom Penh at night is a paradise for budget-friendly dining, but for first-time visitors, the sidewalk eateries often have no English menus and can be difficult to navigate. A local guide will take you to the places where residents of the capital actually eat.
The tour begins at sunset by the riverside, after which a tuk-tuk takes you through local markets and food streets: sampling Khmer bánh xèo, nom banh chok noodles with fish broth, grilled meat skewers wrapped in betel leaves, boiled snails, and roasted insects for those brave enough to try them, along with sweet soups and tropical fruits. Midway through the tour, you will stop at a craft beer bar or a sugarcane juice stall.
The tour includes approximately 5–6 stops, enough food to make a hearty dinner. It can be adjusted for vegetarian guests or those who do not eat spicy food.
