Detailed itinerary
Morning:
06:00 Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up in central Hanoi to depart for a 1-day tour of Tam Dao.
The group stops to rest and have breakfast (at your own expense). Along the way, you can admire the characteristic scenery of the Northern Midlands mountainous region…
09:30 Arrive in Tam Dao. The tour guide takes the group on a sightseeing tour around Tam Dao town featuring:
- Tam Dao Stone Church: Built between 1906 and 1912, the church is located in the center of Tam Dao town, along the road leading to the peak of Thien Mountain. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town.
- Heaven's Gate: Having reached the stone church, you definitely should continue up to Tam Dao Heaven's Gate. Looking down from Heaven's Gate, you will see Tam Dao town shimmering through the breathtakingly poetic mist. Taking photos here will give you stunning pictures against the majestic backdrop of Tam Dao's mountains and forests.
- Quan Gio Tam Dao – Cafe in the Clouds: adorned with a wide variety of orchids, passion flowers, and wildflowers blooming along the walkways, exuding fragrance and vibrant colors…
- Rock Cafe Tam Dao: where you can not only savor delicious food and drinks and take in scenic views, but also experience a touch of European charm right in the heart of the misty town of Tam Dao.
Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: The tour guide leads the group on a walk down to visit Cau May. Cau May Studio boasts gorgeous photo check-in spots such as reed grass fields, woven bamboo pathways, wooden swings, etc.
17:00 The group boards the bus to return to Hanoi, stopping en route to rest and shop for local specialties.
