One‑day Trà Vinh eco jungle tour, discovering Cồn Chim – a green island oasis amidst waterways: Cồn Chim is not only an eco‑tourism destination but also a place preserving the traditional cultural values of the people of the Western region. Here, you will explore ancient houses, traditional craft villages, and enjoy hearty rustic dishes full of flavor. The tour program will take you to visit the old Southern kitchen, a leaf‑cake house, a coconut garden, and many other interesting sites. You will experience the daily life of local residents, learn baking and gardening skills, and enjoy the fresh air of nature.

You can travel from Ho Chi Minh City or other attractions to Trà Vinh City to join the 1-day Trà Vinh tour.
09:00 AM: Our tour guide picks you up in Trà Vinh City and departs for Cồn Chim Tourist Area. The group travels by boat, enjoying views of the Cổ Chiên River and the many islets and emerging islands forming along the way.
10:00 AM: Arrive at Cồn Chim, receive conical hats, and take souvenir photos at the Cồn Chim Village Gate. Begin the community-based tourism tour following the “harmony with nature” model. Walk or cycle along the peaceful village roads, enjoy the fresh air, and visit the attractions. Each attraction takes approximately 30–45 minutes.
- Southern Traditional Kitchen: Listen to an introduction to the history and people of Cồn Chim. Enjoy five-bean tea and traditional cakes and preserves, drink sương sâm herbal jelly, row a raft, cross a monkey bridge, and experience giở gió.
- Coconut Garden: Admire the Coconut Road and enjoy fresh coconut through an environmentally friendly reed straw. Admire the flowers and rice fields while enjoying the fresh air of the riverside countryside. Here, guests are shown how to weave coconut leaves into handbags, grasshoppers, clocks, and more.
- Cô Ba Sữa Leaf Cakes: Visit a distinctly Mekong Delta-style house with a dragon-shaped facade. Experience grinding flour with a nearly century-old stone mill, make leaf cakes yourself, enjoy the finished products, and drink a refreshing pandan-leaf and rock-sugar beverage.
- Folk Games: Return to your childhood with familiar folk games such as jump rope, marbles, can knocking, and many other engaging games.
- In particular, guests can join a crab-racing game and place bets on the crab contestants, with prizes for the winners (advance booking is required).
- Crab Fishing (from March to September) or Giant Freshwater Prawn Fishing (from September to March): Fish for crabs and prawns by hand or catch giant freshwater prawns with a cast net, while listening to stories about livelihoods in Cồn Chim: “The prawn embraces the rice plant.”
