Criteria for Sorting and Displaying Search Results

1. Purpose

This page publicly discloses the primary criteria that determine the display order of Tour Guides and tours in search results and listing pages on huongdanviendulich.vn, in accordance with Decree No. 248/2026/ND-CP.

2. User-Selected Filters

Results only include Tour Guides and tours that match the filters selected by the user:

  • location and service area;
  • service date and availability;
  • price range;
  • language;
  • rating level.

3. Default Sorting Order

When users do not choose a specific sort order, the system sorts results based on overall relevance aggregated from the following criteria:

4. User-Selected Sorting Options

Users can change the display order by: price low to high; price high to low; highest rated; newest. Results will then be sorted precisely according to the selected option.

5. Factors That Do Not Affect Ranking

  • The type of platform fee borne by the seller (fixed fee or percentage-based fee).
  • The affiliate marketing commission rate set by the seller.

6. Advertising and Paid Placements

  • Currently, the platform does not sell placement positions and does not feature paid display results.
  • When implemented, any paid display results will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" and separated from the organic results sorted by the criteria in Section 3. The platform will update this page and complete procedures for amendment and supplement of registration pursuant to Article 28 of Decree No. 248/2026/ND-CP prior to implementation.

7. Cases of Demotion or Non-Display

  • Non-display: accounts with "Pending Update" status; expired tour guide licenses; revoked or suspended travel service business licenses; products not yet approved or already removed.
  • Demotion: reputation score deductions due to canceling confirmed bookings, violating Operating Regulations, or having substantiated complaints.

8. Anti-Ranking Manipulation

  • Only Travelers who have completed a booking via the platform are permitted to review the corresponding service.
  • Creating fake bookings, fraudulent reviews, and any acts of ranking manipulation are strictly prohibited. The platform removes fraudulent reviews and bookings from ranking calculations and applies sanctions according to the Operating Regulations.

9. Changes to Criteria

When primary criteria are modified, the platform will update this page and clearly state the version and effective date.
