Tour description
Cycling is the most enjoyable way to experience the vast scale of the Angkor complex. Instead of sitting in a car traveling from one temple to another, you will weave along red-dirt trails beneath the canopy of ancient trees, riding beside the walls and moats of Angkor Thom—the royal city rarely visited by tourists.
The route is approximately 25–30 km, mostly flat and suitable for people of average fitness. You will visit Bayon Temple, the city gates, small temples hidden in the forest such as Ta Nei or Preah Palilay, and Ta Prohm Temple. At midday, the tour stops for lunch at a rural village around the archaeological site.
Well-maintained mountain bikes and helmets are provided; a support vehicle follows the group so you can take a break at any time.
