Tour description
Kuang Si Falls is approximately 30 km from Luang Prabang and is the most famous waterfall in Laos. Its waters flow over multiple limestone tiers, forming a series of turquoise pools amid the forest. The main waterfall is approximately 60 meters high, cascading white in the rainy season.
During the tour, you will have time to swim in the pools designated for visitors, follow the trail to the top of the falls for panoramic views and see the stream above. At the entrance is the Asian black bear rescue center (Free the Bears), which cares for bears rescued from the bile trade.
Along the way, the vehicle stops at Hmong and Khmu villages to learn about the lives of ethnic highland communities and traditional brocade weaving. If time permits, you can visit the nearby Kuang Si Butterfly Park (ticket at your own expense).

The tour is conducted by default with an English-speaking local guide; Vietnamese-, French-, Chinese-, or Thai-speaking guides can be requested (please inform us when booking, subject to guide availability).
The price applies per guest and is based on a private tour for groups of 2 or more guests. Larger groups receive better rates; please contact us.
