This is the itinerary chosen by many visitors to Siem Reap: enough time to visit the most important temples in the Angkor complex without rushing, combined with cultural and nature experiences.
The first day is a gentle start with sunset and the night market. The second day is the “classic Angkor” day: sunrise at Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom with Bayon Temple and the tree-root-covered Ta Prohm Temple. On the final day, visit the region’s most exquisite pink sandstone temple, Banteay Srei, and take a boat through the stilt-house village of Kompong Phluk before heading to the airport.

Afternoon: The guide and driver pick you up at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport or your hotel and take you to check in at a centrally located hotel.
16:30: Purchase the Angkor Pass (tickets purchased after 17:00 allow entry that same evening without counting toward the number of days covered by the ticket). Watch the sunset at the mountain temple of Pre Rup or Phnom Bakheng hill.
Evening: Enjoy Khmer cuisine for dinner, then spend your free time strolling around Angkor Night Market and Pub Street. Overnight in Siem Reap.
