Tour description
Laos is an excellent family destination: safe, friendly, with short travel distances thanks to the high-speed train and plenty of nature-oriented activities for children.
In Vientiane, the whole family explores the unusual Buddha Park and the golden stupa Pha That Luang. The high-speed train takes the family to Vang Vieng to float through a water cave (life jackets are available for children), swim at the Blue Lagoon and admire the limestone mountains. The final three days are spent in Luang Prabang, visiting Kuang Si Falls and the bear rescue center, taking a boat on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, enjoying a fun cooking class and exploring the handicraft night market.
The itinerary includes daily midday rest time, hotels with swimming pools, a private vehicle with child seats upon request and an experienced guide for family groups.
