Tour description
Vientiane is a flat capital with little traffic, making it ideal for cycling. Just a few kilometers from the city center, you will find tree-lined village roads, vegetable fields along the Mekong River, and the relaxed pace of life in the suburbs.
The tour covers approximately 20–25 km, mainly along back roads and village lanes. You will stop at a family-run silk-weaving workshop, where women weave sinh (traditional Lao skirts) on wooden looms; visit several beautiful village temples and chat with monks; stop by a local market; and enjoy coconut water by the river.
The afternoon tour ends with sunset over the Mekong River, with Thailand on the opposite bank.

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation with a 100% refund when notified at least 24 hours before departure. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event of bad weather or attraction closures required by the authorities, we can help reschedule the tour or provide a full refund.
Other notes
Dress code: when visiting temples, the Royal Palace, and other historic sites, please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and trousers or skirts reaching below the knees, and remove your shoes before entering the main hall.
The tour is normally led by an English-speaking local guide; Vietnamese-, French-, Chinese-, and Thai-speaking guides may be requested (please mention this when booking, subject to guide availability).
The price applies per guest for private tours with groups of 2 or more guests. Larger groups receive better rates; please contact us.
Visa: international visitors need a Laos visa (apply for an e-visa online before the trip or obtain a visa at international airports and international border crossings); citizens of ASEAN countries are visa-exempt under applicable regulations. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
The tour is suitable for guests aged 10 and above who know how to ride a bicycle.
