Detailed itinerary
06:30 Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point to depart for the spring excursion. On the way, rest and have breakfast (at your own expense).
07:30 Arrive at Nom Pagoda, where you can offer incense to pray for peace and prosperity. Nom Pagoda (also known as Linh Thong Co Tu) is an ancient pagoda boasting the most quintessentially antique beauty in the Northern Delta, notably its collection of ancient statues deeply imbued with rustic, purely Vietnamese traits that epitomize centuries-old traditional sculpting arts.
09:30 Board the vehicle to continue to Hung Yen Mother Goddess Temple (Den Mau Hung Yen), a uniquely sacred temple situated within the Pho Hien special national relic complex.
12:00 Have lunch at a restaurant.
13:30 Board the vehicle to visit Chuong Pagoda (Bell Pagoda), famous for its unique system of ancient statues and renowned as the "First Scenic Spot of Pho Hien". Besides its grand and beautiful architecture, Chuong Pagoda also preserves many valuable artifacts such as horizontal lacquered boards and parallel sentences, particularly the stone stele "Kim Chung Tu Thach Bi Ky".
15:30 Board the vehicle to return to Hanoi. On the way back, the group visits Chu Dong Tu Temple. You will enjoy the peaceful countryside scenery with "green bamboo groves, lush fields of corn and sweet potatoes, and a ferry crossing the river", marvel at white alluvial sandbanks, watch sunlight glimmering through rows of areca palms, and pay homage to Saint Chu Dong Tu—one of the "Four Immortals" in Vietnamese folk belief—along with his two beautiful wives, Princess Tien Dung and Princess Tay Sa.
18:00 The vehicle drops you off at the original meeting point. Farewell and see you again on upcoming tours.
