For those who have already seen Angkor and want to venture farther, this program takes you to the northern border region to visit two of the most impressive sites of the Khmer Empire.
Preah Vihear (Prasat Preah Vihear) was built over several centuries on a mountain outcrop approximately 525 meters high in the Dângrêk Mountains. It consists of a series of gateways and temples connected along an axis nearly 800 meters long, ending at a cliff overlooking the vast Cambodian plains. The temple was recognized by UNESCO in 2008.
Koh Ker – a 10th-century capital and a World Heritage Site since 2023 – is famous for the seven-tiered Prasat Thom pyramid amid the forest. On the way back, you will visit the forest temple of Beng Mealea.
You will spend the night in the town of Sra Em near the foot of the mountain, allowing you to reach Preah Vihear early in the morning while the weather is still cool and misty.

Detailed itinerary
Morning (07:30): The vehicle and guide pick you up at your hotel and depart for Beng Mealea (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Visit the Beng Mealea jungle temple.
Noon: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Continue to Koh Ker to visit Prasat Krahom and the Prasat Thom pyramid, along with several linga temples in the area.
Evening: Travel to Sra Em town (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes), check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Noon: Descend the mountain and have lunch in Sra Em.
Afternoon: Return to Siem Reap (approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes), with rest stops along the way.
Evening (17:30): Arrive at your hotel in Siem Reap, ending the program.

Cancellation 7 days or more before departure: 100% tour refund.
Cancellation 3–6 days before departure: 50% tour refund.
Cancellation within 3 days of departure or no-show: non-refundable.
In the event of natural disasters, epidemics, or attraction closures required by the authorities, we will assist with changing the date or refunding the unused services.

Dress code: when entering temples, pagodas, and the Royal Palace, guests are kindly requested to wear clothing that covers the shoulders and trousers/skirts below the knees; sports shoes are recommended because many sections have steep stone steps.
The tour is conducted by default by an English-speaking local guide; guides speaking Vietnamese, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other languages can be requested (please indicate this when booking, subject to guide availability).
