Detailed itinerary
06:00: The vehicle and tour guide pick up the group at the meeting point, then everyone boards the vehicle to begin the journey to the historic revolutionary sites. Along the way, the vehicle will pass through the Hai Van Road Tunnel, and the group will be able to admire the entire view of Lang Co Bay from above.
Upon reaching Quang Tri, before arriving at the Vinh Moc Tunnels, the group will pass by the Thach Han River—a place that holds the souls of hundreds of fallen soldiers.
Next is the Ben Hai River - Hien Luong Bridge, the border that once divided Vietnam into two regions along the 17th parallel.
09:30 The group arrives at the Vinh Moc Tunnels—located in Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province. This was a military-civilian construction built during the Vietnam War by the Democratic Republic of Vietnam to withstand attacks from the Republic of Vietnam and the United States of America.
11:15 – 12:15 Guests board the vehicle and return to Dong Ha for lunch and on-site rest.
13:30 - 14:00: The group continues the journey to Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, where the 81-day-and-night battle took place between the forces of the Liberation Army of South Vietnam and the U.S. Army alliance. Today, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Museum still preserves artifacts and farewell letters sent by soldiers to their families during this battle.
16:00 The journey at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel ends, and the group departs back to Lang Co for dinner.
After dinner, the group passes through the Hai Van Road Tunnel and returns to Da Nang.
The one-day journey following the flow of history and revisiting historic revolutionary sites comes to an end. Goodbye and see you again!
